Our Core Values
Biblically Based // We contextualize the Gospel though emphasizing stewardship as crucial in God’s design for human flourishing. Participants will gain practical skills so that they can thrive in the workplace, in finances, and everyday life as well as add value to God’s world.
Church Mobilization // In equipping the church to develop empowering relationships across social-economic lines, we aim to walk out the command of Jesus to love our neighbor as ourselves. We prepare church members to serve as allies alongside participants and to apply poverty alleviation principles that “help” rather than “hurt.” We encourage allies to advocate for the participants, even after a program ends.
Building Bridges // We seek to connect participants to jobs, careers, continuing education, financial resources as they successfully complete the course. Church members provide connections to help meet the needs and goals of participants. These connections bring restoration to a historically broken economic system for people from backgrounds of generational poverty.
